Hey guys. I'm currently in a student film contest that requires me to take a script for a advert and film it. My problem is that I need some simple CGI work done - a pregnancy test changes into a fag in a woman's hand while the camera pulls out. Can you, or someone you know offer me their skills? I'm willing to pay a little or maybe you can give me another suggestion to get past this problem?

Ha ha, britishisms ftw. If you can't find anyone to do it there are fairly simple practical ways of doing it. If you shoot the hand holding the test and the same one holding a cigarette in the same position a slow fade would honestly probably work just as well. That is, of course, if you can't find someone to help you out.
Also, if you don't find any help here you might want to try amateur 3D forums. I don't know of any off hand but google "blender" and I'm sure you'll find one.

Yeah I thought of that but it would be incredibly difficult to get the two images the same because a) the camera is moving and b) there is going to be a lot of smoke in the air. Also my dolly is a skateboard so will be very tempermental. I'll try some 3D forums, thanks.
