I have a great idea for a film that I know will make it into sundance. I just moved to Los Angeles and am seeking actors males and females, if your interested in being in this movie please contact me here or on e mail at hollywoodplayas@aol.com, any help on this would be great. I have the idea and basically can write it out with someone in a matter or a couple of days. I always like more ideas and opinions. I am also looking for someone to shoot the movie, and direct it with me. Lets make this movie a big time hit! Sundance is great, ive been talking with people from there and people that have made it into sundance and they all say the same thing, it has to be personal and a certain part in the movie has to blow away the audience, well this movie is and does both!! Thanks alot.

I wish I didn't live in Missouri or I'd be all over that! I'd really like to help, but my location sort of prevents me. Someday I'll be in LA....some day.

I live in Northern CA, but that's still a considerble distance. Nonetheless, keep me informed of your projects.

I just had dinner tonight with a writer that is working on a script with one of the highest paid writer/producers in Hollywood (this writer was flown out to Hollywood -- from NYC -- for a weeks stay by the studio, all expenses paid, to work on this "idea". Well actually the studio bought the "rights"). In a few day's time they
will barely have a vague outline as to where to take this, and it's an adaptation of his novel. And remember, we're talking people that are pros that get paid lots of money to write really, really fast. And good.....

Good scripts take, maybe, a bit longer than a few days. Suffice it to say, they aren't even considering casting for it "yet".

Write the script first... you're starting backwards. Busboys clearing the tables of Hollywood's elite all have great "ideas" (so they tell everyone)... getting these ideas down on paper in the form of good script is quite another achievement.

Good luck!

Damnit Jay.. as much as I would like to be that guy, Id settle for having dinner with that guy. I gotta talk my wife into becoming an agent (then Id have to talk her into signing me Big Grin )

Good advice though. Do'nt put the cart before the horse. You will be amazed how much an idea will change and grow as you commit it to paper.
