Hi,

I'm in the process of creating a small webdesign company. I've made some websites, some for money, some for myself, but I'd like to have a bigger portfolio when I launch the company's website. So if anybody needs a website for free, send me a mail: da_gotan@hotmail.com with your wishes. It will be ready in a week or so. However, don't take disadvantage of this opportunity by telling me to make a big site or whatever, because my time is limited.

Some examples:

http://www.beyondimagination-movies.net
http://www.spacekeet.nl
http://www.brothersofwar-themovie.tk
http://www.beyondimagination-movies.net/bobwall2.jpg

I think those samples will pretty much give you a basic idea.

If you would like a website, send an email to da_gotan@hotmail.com along with information about:

- a description about how you want your website to be
- possibly an example, like an existing website that kind of describes your needs
- pictures you want to be used in the layout

Also, I've been receiving quite a lot of emails, thanks! However, as mentioned earlier, please don't take a huge disadvantage by asking me to make websites such as Beyond Imagination, because not only do they take a lot of time (it could easily take about 15 to 20 hours to get a nice and decent layout like that), but a lot of effort as well. Therefore I want to note that anyone who would like a website like that could get one, only for a small fee (like 20-30 bucks).

I am willing to make a nice website for you guys, but making websites such as Beyond Imagination takes up so much time and effort that I cannot get it all done for you. Please consider that. The same goes for updating the site as well, a very small fee will be charged for that.

Cheers

Gotan

Hi,

just to give you guys a heads up and answer some FAQs: Yes, I am still doing free websites for another 3-4 weeks, so be quick!

I've completed ChrisHurns' website, who wanted a simple-in-design website (which I do find pretty dififcult), almost exactly like james-newton-howard.com. I nudged in a slightly different direction, and this is the final result:

http://www.chrishurn.com

At the moment I'm busy with Epic Films website.

Cheers!

Hi, currently I am working on the website for Epic Films, I should have time in about a week. It will probably only take a couple of days.

Anyway, I do need some information, so if you want a free website, send an email with:

- a description about how you want your website to be
- possibly an example, like an existing website that kind of describes your needs
- pictures you want to be used in the layout

That's all! Try to send me an email before the Christmas days, because I have some spare time by then.

Gotan is a great web designer and you'd be crazy not to take him up on his offer. Smile

Thanks for designing chrishurn.com - I really appreciate it.

Cheers,

Thanks a lot Mark and Chris! Appreciate it, because in my opinion Chris' site didn't turn it the way I really wanted it to be, but seeing that Chris was pleased with it...

Anyway, I've updated some small things in my first post, because I've been getting a lot of emails. I would like to say that for a great website with a lot of detail and stuff, a small fee will be charged. The same goes for updating the site. Sorry, but I just can't handle 3 sites like that a week. I work hard, but I'm already very busy... so keep that in mind. it is still possible though...

Yeah, just a nice, decent layout with a professional turnaround. Shouldn't be a problem. I'll start working on it in the weekend. It will take me 1 or 2 days.

Further on, I'd like to mention that spectucal websites aren't for free, don't try to take disadvantage or anything, this goes for all of you!

Cheers Smile

Awesome... but the layout is broken for me. Safari 2, Mac OS X 10.4. Also broken on Firefox 1.5 and IE 5.

Hi,

argh, I hate resoltion-related problems. I guess that's it, I'll try to fix it right away.
Anyway, TD, are you Mark Denega or someone else?

Also, I've just completed Epic Films website. More of a flashy website:

http://www.beyondimagination-movies.net/epicfilms

Eric & the whole crew, enjoy!
Should you run into any trouble, let me know.

Ah yes... a resolution problem. Nasty little buggers. And, no, I'm not Mark - I'm me. Anyway, yeah, I checked it from my Powerbook so the screen is pretty small. It's better now.

Hi,

just wanted to say a couple of things. First off, I've completed kedosmedia.com:

http://www.kedosmedia.com

Also, Mark Denega and Eric Kohler, I haven't heard anything from you yet since i sent the final result...?

As a conclusion, I'd like to note that some people are totally out of bounds here.

"Hey, Gotan. I just wanted to know where you were with your sites. Are you still doing them for free. If so, how do I get your help with one. Also, what do you use to make the sites? I want a flash site, like the movie sites you see these days. Anyway, the website is at spintopfilms.com Please contact me with anything you need. Thanks!

He [b]wantsp/b] a Flash site. I decently replied I don't do such websites for free, only for a small free because they tend to take up loads of time. I got a PM back and he told me names and what not else. That's just sick, ruining it for everybody.

Cheers,

Gotan
