I am considering placing my student film here on Student Films. It's a white knuckle thriller-killer at 38 miles per hour. I have it posted on youtube already and would greatly appreciate any feedback and/or comments/ratings from anyone here. Please let me know what you think as you may change the course of the rest of my life Smile. Here's the link, hold on to your butts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgCatBPlh_E

So what the hell happened. I don't understand what was going on. Why didn't they just toke up and bang the bag. I like some of your angles/shots, but the tography looked like my loose stool. You should work on a better plot next time also. And lose the cute "WARNING" stuff and ridiculously long credits. Atleast you used what you had tho right?

Oh, and I love the blue album but you shoulda used a song that fit better like "Tired of Sex"

hmmm, I don't know if it was moving as fast as you said it was. I thought the picture taking thing was interesting, but after a while the sound just got annoying to hear, it felt overused.

also, while it was unigue you had the whole thing in black/white I also felt it was unnecessary, for me it didn't add anything to the vibe and I felt like I was watching a flaskback the whole time.

Like the person above did say, it is good you worked with what you had, but the story was a bit of an apparition...it felt predictable(once I figured out there was a killer, I knew it killed her and was coming for the guys;when they answered the phone you knew they were about to get killed.)

Also, like Fash said the Weezer song was way out of place for the end of the movie, you want to carry on the feeling not execute it.

I though the color thing(unless that's what topography is) was an interesting choice for death signal rather than blood.

Lastly, it could just be me, but is your audio not synched up, I could've sworn when people were talking they mouthed after they voiced things.

Thanks guys for the comments, i really appreciate your insightful comments and i pretty much agree with most of what you had to say. I'm fairly proud of the editing i did on this movie considering the material i gave myself to work with. The topography problems are a result of me being somewhat drunk while filming it :O and the story problems come from filming only the first draft of the script. Redgardless i feel that it is still quite a fun flick and 38 miles per hour isn't all that fast now is it? Any more comments/criticisms would be greatly appreciated, you are a smart bunch Smile.

p.s. sorry josh for double posting it and thanks for not deleting this thread.
