College-film is getting ready to produce its first short film and is looking for scripts. The budget will be about $2000 hopefully wghich will pretty much just cover the cost of film and processing( it will be on 16mm). Anyway, if anyone has a 10-12 min script that they would like to see produced please send it in. I am looking for a drama or comedy that takes place in the present because of budget constraints so please bear this in mind. I hope to hear from many of you and hopefully we can work together.

What will the writer's involvment be? Also, you say College-film, who's that? Are we going to be paid/receive anything for this?

If we want to submit and be involved, do you provide transportation and a place to stay?

The involvement would be simply providing the script and perhaps some re-writes. You would receive full story and script credit. College-film is really just me branching off the branding into film as to be able to have a better chance at raising money. It will be a no budget production since the money will be for `16mm film and lab fees, but I'm hoping to hit the festival circuit with it so there is chance for some good exposure.

Why shoot i on 16mm and spend money like that? why not shoot it on hi-deff dv? bit most cost efficient. plus it would free up some $$ to pay the writer. just a thought.
