The Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival and Charter Communications have teamed up to present The Sidewalk Chalk Film Competition in order to challenge film makers to produce a five minute short film about pediatric cancer. The winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 and a Sloss Furnace Iron Works Trophy, official trophy of The Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival. All entries will be screened at the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival from September 26-28, 2008. Deadline for the Sidewalk Chalk Film Competition ends September 5, 2008.
