The Darkline Network is currently looking for video serials produced by independent filmmakers for broadcast on our site in early 2005. [http://darklineproductions.com] The Darkline Network is an independent entertainment organization dedicated to producing, promoting, and showcasing cutting-edge entertainment in both literary and video format. However, we lean more toward video format.

Darkline is set to run much like a television network. We will present a program schedule comprised of serials filmed by up-and-coming filmmakers in a variety of genres. Each week new episodes in the serials will be released for view on the site free of charge to visitors.

Currently we are looking for productions that are continuing stories in installments that are 10-30 minutes in length. We are looking for cutting-edge programs that exceed the artistic quality of primetime television shows as seen on FOX, CBS, and other large networks. Though your production may lack money and you may be shooting for pennies on the dollar, Darkline is interested in viewing your project and speaking with you about possible broadcast on our site.

This is a basic rundown of what we are interested in seeing:

[1] A video series that is completed and has 10 or more episodes,
[2] A video series that is in progress but has a set number of episodes planned,
[3] A video series that is in production and has no set number of episodes and will run indefinitely,
[4] An independent feature film 1 hour and ½ or more in running time that could be run as a movie of the week or month,
[5] Completed projects that could be run as a mini-series on the network.

Notes of caution, Darkline only accepts original works and not fan-fiction productions. All producers must own or have the power to grant Darkline permission to broadcast their series on our site; and the music score for your film must be original, or you must have permission to use all music that is in your project. Basically we want to avoid an copyright disputes.

We are an online network so language, nudity, violence, and content are not issues. However, we do not accept pornographic content.

What we do… Darkline is an independent organization run and operated in the Midwest. All costs for our site, bandwidth, and design services are paid out of pocket by our founders. We are currently in production of three original serials of our own, and do not usually offer monetary compensation for broadcast of projects on our site…. Unless it is something we can’t live without!

What we do offer is free promotion and advertising of your project. We host all the programs on our own server and create a site for every series. So you would be getting your own projects website along with free-web space to stream your project off of.
