Hi Philly and everyone, Thanks for all of your insights! You've given great and helpful information. I applied for the MA in Film Studies and the MFA in Cinematography. Does anyone know how competitive the MA in Film Studies program is? Is anyone in either program? How do you like them? Chapman seems really great and the more I find out about it, the more I want to go there!! Thanks!! quote: Originally posted by Philly: hi everyone! I'm a 1st year Grad Chapman director. If you guys have any questions about the production program let me know. I remember how tough it was making this decision last year...and how stressful Let me know if I can be of any help.

Log in to Web Advisor. Then go to Prospective Students and then Admissions Status. http://www.chapman.edu/RegOffice/OC/webAdvisor.aspIf you haven't activated it, you will need to do that first and the help desk can help you with that, if needed. Their phone number is on the page linked above. quote: Originally posted by deus_ex_machina85: How do you check your Chapman Application status online?

Hi everyone,
I don't really have anything particularly new to say, but maybe this will bring comfort to some people. I just spoke to Joe, Alex Rose's assistant, and he said that she has not even finished looking through all the early admissions applications. He said it could be up to 3 more weeks before they make a finalized decision about who they want to hear more from. That means around 3 more weeks to get a call to interview (IF they want to interview you, which they sometimes don't), and up to a bit longer if they are just sending you a letter (whether it be good or bad).
Plus, dual applicants should keep their chins up because they only review you for one discipline at a time. If you are rejected or wait listed for your first choice, THEN the process starts all over again with your second choice.
That is all.

I got into USC off the waitlist. Don't give up.
