What Cinematographers you like? I'm not going to pretend to know their names, but I think the cinematographers behind Dancer in the Dark and Fight Club were amazing.

I hope someone makes The Dark Tower in my lifetime, but I'd hate to see it done a la Beowulf.

Its currently set to be directed by JJ Abrams! Had you not already gotten that news?

I really would like to see them start production/casting soon, but I am content waiting because I think they absolutely need to take their time with this project, considering how huge and epic of an undertaking it would be if they want to do it right.

anyone heard of Elephant Dreams? It's an open source short animation film from the netherlands (i think..I know it's from somewhere in europe.) I have to say the idea of making a film via 'open source' is like...too cool!
