Hey. So I've been having a ton of trouble getting my letters of rec secured. Does anyone know how sticky grad film schools are about letters of rec? USC says it needs a min of three. If I don't submit three, will my application even be considered? UCLA needs cover sheets on their recs, but for some of my recommenders I can't get this, only a straight letter, is that going to disqualify my app? Any one go through this before?

I won't lecture you about how you should have taken care of this part months ago, but I do believe that all parts of the application matter...and that includes LORs, the little checklists that come with them, transcripts, whatever.

And if they won't do the checklist, then they shouldn't be recommending you...they're not interested in your success enough to help you reach your goals.
