I got my call from Sheila as well. Did she interview you? I was thinking that they have one of your interviewers call, primarily due to the familiarity factor.
I just looked at your post again, yes, she interviewed you. That's the solution to that mystery.

I applied for screenwriting and Del Reisman was the one who called, but he was not one of my interviewers. Good luck for the rest of you. I assume phones are about to start ringing.

Thanks Yossarian! I'm especially excited since AFI was the only program I applied to. So who else has officially been accepted and is planning to attend?

I see that everyone is waiting for that phone call, or eMail... from AFI. I'm one of you, too. Also, I got a question for people who applied at UCLA. Did UCLA send official rejection letters or emails to everyone. I'm sure that they rejected me (since I didn't get an interview there), but I was wondering did they at least send an official rejection notice to those who didn't get in. Thanks, and good luck.

Hey, nice job Tex! I'm glad to hear that you made the cut. Applying to only one program can be nerve-racking. And to everyone else, just keep hanging in there!

I'm waiting to hear on directing at AFI too...haven't heard anything yet. I'm actually in LA visiting UCLA, USC and AFI (msging from a computer on the UCLA campus, how dorky!), but I'm hoping I hear from AFI one way or the other before I go there to visit! (Also waiting on UCLA and USC directing but decided to visit anyawy). Good luck to all!

Just take a cab to AFI right now, walk to Hardmann's (or whatever his name is) office, and as him... just kiddin'. And another que to UCLA people: anyone accepted to UCLA without an interview? Thanks.

Hey everybody! This is't a film school acceptance but I have some pretty big news!!
My most recent short film just got in to the Frameline San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Film Festival...for those of you who don't know about it, they call it the "Gay Sundance". This is about as big as it gets for GLBT film.
First I get in to film school...now this...for the first time in my life I'm scared I'm going to get hit by a bus tomorrow...instead of hoping for it!!
