I am 24 years old, and have just recently completed my -first- ever film (video... technically... one works with what one can...). I am currently finishing up my associates degree here in Reno, and will be transfering down to the University of Las Vegas to attend their film program beginning next fall.
I feel like the baby of the forums, not in age, obviously, but definately in experience. I have been interested in film off and on since I was 12 years old, but it was only last year that I was actually able to do something about indulging that interest.
I have a long way to go on the road to success, but everyone has to start somewhere, right?
I have really enjoyed being a part -- although a rather silent one, mostly -- of these forums. Most of you are really quite encouraging and have a lot of helpful things to say. So, thank you all for that.
And a big thanks to Chris for starting all of this. You're a cool guy.

I think I can compete with you as far as the most inexperienced, Mande. Mostly it is in the technical sense (don't know about cameras or editing or anything like that) and I've been interested on and off too. After my first year of college I'm going to transfer and go somewhere to study film. Hey, we'll all get where we want to if we stay determined and dedicated-----nobody quit!!
