Welcome to Studentfilms.com! I have one tip, and my production teacher continually instills this on us, Best Idea vs Achievability, two main factors to making a movie.

Hi,

my tip: try to put in as many efforts as you can possibly can, to get the best result. Don't get yourself overstressed though.

When writing the script, (definately write a script), try to make the characters as interesting as possible and try to make them suit the personalities of the actors you are using, that way it will just be more natural. Try to best to light the scenes with anything you got. Good luck!

That's good advice from Trespasser re: making the characters interesting. No KILL BILL or GET SHORTY clones.

What kind of clothes does your character wear? What's their favorite colors? What kind of food do they like? What's their hobby? If you had your characters over for dinner, what would you all talk about?

Get to know your characters before you write your script. You'll see what a difference it makes in the script!

Good luck and welcome!

What they said. Don't make your characters 2-d. Don't make your scene get to be mellow dramatic. Then it starts to be a "life-time" movie moment. When thinking of locations, make sure you can get premission to use whatever or don't make scenes that revolve around locations you cannot obtain. Do not center your movie around special effects. Center it around a good, solid storyline.

Ladies and gentlemen...today we have dean martin and jerry lewis going to camp with us...Jerry tells the jokes, dean sings the songs and gets the girls...lets have a big round of applause!~~~Remember The Titans
