My name's Faith, and I've just joined up here. I'm an actor/techie/writer/all around film and theatre enthusiast. I majored in theatre in college, and acting has always been my foremost interest in life, although writing and any sort of tech work runs a very close second. I graduated college in May and am looking to strike into this industry in any way I can, so I've been putting out lines everywhere I can think to. I've been considering getting my Master's Degree, but financially, I don't know that it's an option right now. Admittedly, I don't have any film experience aside from the courses I took in college and the vast amount of film viewing that I've done, but I'm eager and willing to learn. I'm in the Boston, MA area, but I'd be willing to travel as far as my means allow me to. Any advice on starting out in films would be greatly appreciated!
Ha! That brings the Massachusetts total up to about 3! We're catching up to the Canadians Welcome.
I'll let you know if I have any projects coming up I plan to do at least one serious, festival-winning film (as opposed to the last one) before I enter college next year.

I suppose it would be extraordinarily bad of me to send out my HotorNot.com link then, eh? ::chuckle::
Anyhoo, I'm from Haverhill, which is roughly a half hour north of Boston on the NH border. TD, I'd be happy to work on a project with you if you're interested. Let me know if you ever get anything up and running.
I'm also a budding author/playwright. I can help you with any scripts you might have in the works. I've got a good number of useless (and I do mean useless) skills.
