Well hi everyone. I am pretty new to the site. As in I just discovered it today. Thank goodness really, because I am in need of some help. I got an assignment in my DVD yearbook class and we are required to make a film and enter it into our film festival. problem is I am not super creative with the brainstorming thing. I didn't want to rip any ideas off of someone here so could someone just give me some basic genre and direction to go. much appreciated Smile

Hey Brit, welcome to the site! Great to have you onboard. Other than your assignment, are you interested in making films? Tell us a little bit more about this assignment you got. I'd be more than happy to help you. Shoot me a PM or post back.

Take care,

Kegan

ya i guess i was pretty vague before. let's see...this is actually my first year learning about making videos. I am a senior in high school and am on the DVD yearbook comittee. I have made a couple small videos. for the DVD though. nothing on my own. The ones I have made are like commercials and our high school volleyball video. We each get assigned to different sports, assemblies, clubs etc. It is a pretty lax class. I really love it.

There is a film festival coming up and so our class decided we should all enter. The film could be a 5 second short (like an ex. would be a prank or something random), a music video, or a mini-movie up to 10 minutes long. I just don't have any creative juices flowing right now. any help would great! thanks again

best part of using a video camera is you dont have to be all the mechanical bits in it, easiest part is you can point it at anything and say "rolling!" Even better part is i am incredibly interested in finding new languages...better explained; I need your help. what i mean is Im sure you have a way of communicating, maybe even your own made up language among your friends....my problem is I was witheld from a world of communication most of my life and I became a cry baby. So if you could be as kind as to hold a mirror to your life, maybe it could save mine? Im sure there's a few things i could learn off you...how do you go about doing things?
