I felt like I was watching two different movies. I really liked the first part, and it did get pretty ominous. But then, with the reaper walking it seemed sloppier and I couldn't follow the story anymore. After that, yeah, it was chaotic. Nice effort, though. Thanks for sharing.

Haha, Karen, you felt like you were watching two films because I believe the first 1/2 is footage from Shaun of The Dead. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Not a bad start, Pedro. I think when you put your own footage next to Shaun of The Dead like that, it should naturally cause you to analyze what exactly makes your shots look more amateur. A little bit of it may have to do with the quality of the equipment you have, but that is by no means the main difference. I am not the biggest fan of reducing filmmaking down to a series of rules and laws...but there are definitely principles of aesthetics and watchability that you should have a working knowledge of.

For example, notice how smooth and purposeful the camera positions and movements are in the footage from Shaun of The Dead and compare that to your own work.

I'm not trying to be discouraging...just trying to help you improve. Wink
