Hey everyone,
I'm new on the forum and wanted to introduce myself and get some feedback on two projects I'm working on. The first is a documentary about dating. I have three trailers at my website. I would like any comments people have about the idea and the direction it's going so far. Check them out at www.offthewallfilms.com

Also I have been working on a short adaptation of a play called 'A Death in the Family' it's on the site theproject.tv I would like comments about this in general. Editing, cinematography, acting, sound, special effects, pretty much anything.

Hey all thanks for taking the time to give me some feed back,
Hardy.

You cheap person! Asking us to review a film that's not on Studentfilms...we ought to form an angry mob and chase you out with pitchforks and torches!

Just Kidding! Welcome to the forums dude! If you ever need any help with anything, even if its not film-related, just ask and someone will help you out. Or at least I will...

Anyways, watched your three trailers for the documentary about dating. They're awesome! I'm not sure if someone's used that idea before or not, but it's something every guy can relate too...and gals too I guess. Looks like a winner!

Then I watched A Death in the Family. It looked pretty darn good, and I was happy that you got actual BDU's instead of trying to use paintball gear. The snow was a nice touch too. I thought it was a little inplausible that the sniper that shot the soldier didn't shoot the medic...even though they're not supposed to by the Geneva Convention. That being said, maybe the medic could have dragged the solider behind a rock while being shot at. Also, because apparently they weren't in any danger, what's with all the extra camera shake when the medic and the soldier were talking? Almost became a little melodramatic. But otherwise a great little piece. It's too early to vote for it, as the website says August 1, but good luck with the contest!

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for the feed back. A Death in the Family was my first attempt at any kind of serious/well made film. So in the future I will try to think things out a little more, like when should the camera be still or when should it shake. Also I will have to take into consideration things like the medic not getting shot.
Thanks for the insights! I really appreciate it!
Hardy.
