Hello, I joined this site in order to be able to share the accomplishments of my New York City middle school students and their teachers over the past ten years and to get feedback from the student film community. It's wonderful to know that young kids are being taught the magic of film making. If only my middle school had such a thing back when I was a student... but then again it probably would have been super expensive to get any equipment 10 years ago.

Originally, we didn't have such a program. I created it from nothing. Nor did we have equipment. I got grants, hounded administators for funding of the less expensive items of equipment, and bought a 3CCD S-VHS camera myself. Thanks for your comment.
