This site is just so great, so fricking informational. I love it. Everyone that i've seen/read so far are graciously kind. I love it.

Anyhow,
I'm Kathryn and i'm an 18 year old high school senior. I have near zilch experience (except for the years sitting in front of the computer reading up all the info i could on writing, directing, and editing movies); I have one 8 minute amatuer short film and a music video under my belt. I'm currently working on a short film for my graduation project, which i can't wait until it gets fully underway! The exhilartion! WHOOO!

I get so excited about making movies - i can't explain the feeling, and i know you all must know what i'm talking about. The feeling of such excitement that the air seems to become lighter, and there's this overwheming happiness in your chest. Hee. I'm such a geek! Whoo!!

Anyways, i'm interested in eventually creating no-budget soulful indie pics that have a meaning for being made...corny, i know - but the truth.

Welcome, I'm pretty (okay really) new to filmmaking myself. Have fun surfing around the forums (I know i do).

Welcome to the site. You may not have experience, but you're absolutely on the right track. Making films and meeting others who make films can teach you more than any film school can, so keep it up. You seem very motivated and enthusiastic; those are great qualities to have in this business. Add an element of creativity and originality and you're all set. I look forward to seeing some of your work.
