I started making movies with my friends a few years ago, and we have great fun. None of our movies are really any good, mind you, but some are pretty funny and some are cool. I've been looking for an amatuer movie-making forum for a few days now and this one looks to be really awesome!
I hope to post some of my movies soon and be an active member here!

Hey there. I use Adobe Premiere, and I love it. You should invest in some more flexible software. I use to use Pinnacle, but its quite limited compared to some of the more professional packages out there. If you are interested, go to www.academicsuperstore.com. I got the entire Adobe Video bundle (after effects, premiere, audition, and encore dvd) for 430 bucks. The retail is 1800. It's a good deal if you have a part time job.
