Hello there,

I'm Dimphy, nine-teen year old girl who has spent the last 19 years growing up in a small town in the Netherlands.
As a good kid I always went to school, primary school first, then four years of high school and afterwards I studied to become an educational assistent. Next september I'm about to attend The Fontys, some sort of Dutch university, and study journalism, only because they didn't take me in at the Amsterdam Film Acadamy.
I always loved film, I only use my television to watch movies and I've got a PS2, only because it was much cheaper back then, then a regular dvd player.
I've been working at the local television for three years now, as a hobby. From that I made the link to journalism, but I only started there because I wanted to learn how to handle a camera, and how to edit properly.
To earn some extra money, I used to work at the local cinema. Unfortunatly, I got kicked out so right now I'm working at some dull cafetaria. I want to get in cinema work again, actually. This summer I'm leaving my hometown Eindhoven behind, to live in Tilburg, a city nearby where my school is. They got like three cinema's there so I'm sure I can get a job there

I always wanted to be an actor, I auditioned for ceveral plays but unfortunatly, that didn't pay off. Because I'm also a writer, I decided to create my own series or films. I got a whole bunch of scripted, some finished and some of them I sent to some recommended producers in the Netherlands. Unfortunatly, that didn't work either. They didn't believe in my ideas, they said, although I think it's just because they don't trust young screenwriters like me.

I'm still figuring out a way to shoot my movies. My headeditor at the local television told me that, if I came up with a good script, he would reconsider borrowing me some camera's. That would be really cool. Unfortunatly, I cannot find the peace to actually finish some of my ideas so there lays a new task ahead for me
