Hello!

I am a lurker that has finally come out of hiding. I am into film making, but have not done any major projects.
I have been into acting, actually, since I started high school (Gonna be a senior next year) And I've dreamed of being in movies.

So, I thought it'd be fun if I could make my own. Various family and friends wanted to be a part of it... and thus, my "film tradition" was born.

Each summer, I write a script, and my family acts it out, and my father does the filming.
I write, I direct, I act (in), and I edit the films.

Even though it is "just for fun" we do take our time, and we reherse and all that stuff.

I am currently working on a fictional story with elements of my beloved aunt thrown in. (She recently passed away.)

Also, I asked advice on here about microphones, and... I bought one. And my father bought an Tripod.

Haha, you will grow to love the tripod. The tripod is your friend. Zoom in from afar using the tripod, and your depth-of-field will significantly improve. You can't get the effect hand held
