I am a lurker that has finally come out of hiding. I am into film making, but have not done any major projects. I have been into acting, actually, since I started high school (Gonna be a senior next year) And I've dreamed of being in movies.
So, I thought it'd be fun if I could make my own. Various family and friends wanted to be a part of it... and thus, my "film tradition" was born.
Each summer, I write a script, and my family acts it out, and my father does the filming. I write, I direct, I act (in), and I edit the films.
Even though it is "just for fun" we do take our time, and we reherse and all that stuff.
I am currently working on a fictional story with elements of my beloved aunt thrown in. (She recently passed away.)
Also, I asked advice on here about microphones, and... I bought one. And my father bought an Tripod.
Hope to be on the fourm a lot.

Haha, you will grow to love the tripod. The tripod is your friend. Zoom in from afar using the tripod, and your depth-of-field will significantly improve. You can't get the effect hand held
