Use Vegas Video 4... Great editing application, easy to use and produces professional results that are comparable and the same as Final Cut Pro. Everything that you can do in Premiere, you can also do in Vegas. Not to mention the overall video quality of Vegas is better and the fast rendering times. Also, it has a live preview of everything you add and put into the video tracks. It comes with unilmited video and audio tracks. It's an all in one editing program. I used to be active premiere user for like 4 years and then I switched to Vegas because of how easy it was to learn and how many more things you could do in it compared to Premiere.

i wouldnt promote using cracked software if you want to stay on this board whether you opt to use it or not. Its one thing to do it, its another to promote it (isnt a good thing for the website.)

Premiere Pro is definitely a good choice, particularly if you use your student discount and buy the education version. The video collection is pretty cheap too that way.

Also, premiere pro follows an extremely similar model to FCP, so if you are used to FCP's interface you can jump right into final cut. I see you used 6, well if you know premiere 6 and FCP, and wish premiere could be as easy to use as FCP, then yea, go to Premiere pro.

I don't quite get what you mean by that, care to elaborate on how the quality is better? Are you comparing the preview screens, or the overall quality once you export?
