Well using the same logic, TheOne... 90% of all movies you see in theatres are edited with Avid Wink

How's that for best in the industry? Razz
DDP, you can do a search and see several posts about this same exact topic...

Click on the "Find" button at the top, and type in what you want to search for.

The whole Cold Mountain thing was a big publicity stunt. It is one of a handful of feature films cut on FCP.

The rest of them, (J.Michael is right with around 90%) are cut on an Avid.

They are cut with Avid Media Composer systems, usually 4 or so, linked together with the Unity shared storage system.

I don't know... as far as feautres go, yeah. Avid.
But on the indie scene, on more unknowen movies that go to maybe a couple theaters seem to be cut with FCP.

Or, that's what my indie film mags have mentioned.

**** it... I know nothing.
