Having a AGDVX100 and a mac with FCP. How can I go about exporting to say VHS without that special program? Is it possible to edit it then export it back to the minidv tape. Then play it on a TV and record it through a VCR? If so how do I do that?

It should be quite simple in FCP.

Output as if you are outputting to your camera, and connect the RCA outs of your DV camera to the VCR. The outs of the VCR go to your TV so that you can monitor it and see that it is working.

This works on Xpress Pro. I see no reason why it shouldn't work on FCP.

You might have to play with the settings on your DV camera to "pass through" the signal to the VCR.
