Hey!

I need a free editing programe that has a transparency option, like in Adobe Premier or Final cut.

I dont want anything else just something that i can use to place explosions and stuff i have on top of a film.

Like i have a explosion on a black back ground, and then remove the back ground and place the explosion over another other film.

Aparentally you can do this is Adobe Premier.
But i dont have that kinda cash.

And one more question...
The sharewear Version on Adobes Premier Pro 6.0 wich is free to download, does it stop working after 30 days or just has limited fetures?

Thanks Alot.

I don't think iMovie does what he wants.... at all... Plus, since he was talking about Premiere Pro I am assuming he doesn't use a Mac system :-p. You could try one of the Pinnacle programs? They arent too great but uh.... yeah. I think they can have multiple layers of video and key out colors. And they is cheap. And yes, the Try-out version of Premiere Pro does stop working after a certain period of time, I am not sure if it is 30 or 60 days but yeah.... try a pinnacle program.

There's always someone out there cooler than you.

Well he wanted free didn't he? There aren't many free apps - unless you go the illegal route - and that's not something this site promotes at all.

HOWEVER....check out the JourneyEd.com site for discounts on educational software. Avid Xpress is $295. I'm not sure what the discount on Premiere is.
