I'm wondering, dudes... is there a way with FC to make live action look... more "cartooney"?
Something like Photoshop could do if you firstly use the "posterize" filter, followed by the "cut out" effect? Maybe something for "squiggle vision", too? You know, used for cartoon's such as Dr. Katz and the first season of Home Movies.
Thanks in advance, guys!

There might be effects to do that, but to my experience, no effect that I've ever used has given me the desired effect. I don't use Final Cut as my primary, but I'm sure the following can be done in almost any NLE:
I usually export as a sequence of still images and set up a macro in photoshop to open every one, do a certain amount of things to it (the cut out effect among other things), and then save it. Then I import the new series of images as a movie file, sync it with the old sound, and volia.
I've gotten cartoonish effects doing that.

There is a way to do it and I cant think of what its called off of the top of my head ( sorry ) but its not really worth it because the filter makes a lot of things look like crap... my advice is play with it and see wut looks good and what looks bad so that way when you shoot you will know what to avoid otherwise if you wing it your not gonna get what you want out of it and it will make your production look really cheap ( in my opinion )

None of the automated filter options are acceptable to me, since they all lock the motion rigorously to each frame (and therefore you get a perfect simulacrum of movement, whereas in Waking Life/A Scanner Darkly they keyframed animation over the shots, so it was actually animated, not painted over in lockstep).
