I am in Idaho and found this blog today very nice! I have been working in the snow for several years and want to know what the opinion out thtere is on color replacement in the various NLE (Pro-sumer)(Sony, Avid, FCP, and Adobe). Often I have to change the whites in the snow so they don't look grey. Sometimes its cool to amke them blue for that super cold Artic look. I know that the best way is correct filtering and light metering but well that doesn't always work either, soooo....

You could adjust your white balance accordingly before shooting.
