Avid sells some self paced training manuals on their site: http://www.avid.com/training/selfpace/index.htmlThe books should be pretty good if they are written by the same people who write the Avid books for the "real" Avid classes. I am an Avid Certified Instructor out here in LA so if you have any questions feel free to ask. Of course I probably cannot teach you how to use Xpress via the message boads or e-mail...but if you have specific questions I could definitely answer them. There are also many good books on Media Composer (Xpress is practically the same with some differences here and there) which would be fine as well. The book "Avid Editing, A Guide for Beginning and Intermediate Users" by Sam Kauffmann is supposedly pretty good. Unfortunately I do not know of any free websites. Hope this helps. -Chris Studentfilms.com
