For our movie, we need muzzle flashes, I was wondering if thats possible to do in AE, or is there another program we can use to achieve the effect? Thanks for your help.

This has been discussed recently, so check that find button in the upper left. AE can def be used, use these free flashes from detonation films and key them out. Voila! could pull it off in an NLE too with these probably:

i thought i find it on www.resolume.com but i dont see it there now, so i dont actually know lol. I just bookmark 'em into my footage favorites folder when i find them.
