I don't have enought money to buy final cut pro, so i'm using imovie, which kinda sucks because i am so into movie making. imovie is fine i guess, it's just not as advanced as i want my movies to be. is there any way i can improve imvie, with free plugins or something? if anyone knows a good website with free downloads so imovie can be any better, please tell me. thanks a lot!

Well... i never used iMovie - i went straight to FCP with the educational discount of $399. if you don't have that sort of money (it took a bit of saving) you can also get the educational discounted price on FCP Express which (i think) is $100.

you are a high-school or college student, right? thats all it takes to get the discount

This sounds extremely simple, but just go to yahoo or google or your choice of search engine. Type in "free iMovie plugins."

If you have 100 bucks DEFINITELY get the FCP XPress. WELL worth your money. I got my FCP HD for 299 at my campus bookstore (college campus that is). I don't know what it is anywhere else, but if you have that money, definitely buy it.
