Hey all,
I started thinking of some things we could all do to get this site more active... and then it hit me.... COMPETITIONS...

I know a lot of people out there are pretty good in post, so i was thinking, why not make a promo commercial for studentfilms.com?

could be shot completely on DV, could be 100% motion graphics...

the winner (we'd have to see if it were alright with chris) could have say one free film upload on the site, and he would be able to use the finished promo...

i dunno, just a thought...
even if chris says no to the prize, it would be cool to see what everyone on this site is capable of...

who actually knows what they are talking about, and who is all "talk"....

what do you guys think?

Since avatars are so hot right now, maybe the contest should be designing Jeff's new avatar.

Then he could donate the $ for a free upload to student films as a prize (after all, Chris needs to save his money to keep his new wife happy). How 'bout it, Jeff?

and then you could take all the free time you have, and design YOURSELF an avatar, joren.

just an idea...

we need to do SOMETHING to be more involved around this site... so why don't you brainstorm some more ideas, joren....
