my hard drive is full and i have a mac, do i need to buy an external hard drive or what?

Unless you can prune some space and delete files...
You don't need to get an external, you could get another internal or replace the internal. It's extremely easy on a mac. What type do you have? -Chris Studentfilms.com |

It's true that you don't need an external, but it would be smart to get one. You're really not supposed to store video on your system hard drive.
Externals are pretty reasonably priced. You can get a nice LaCie 160 GB for around $200. I would recommend looking into it. |

Just grab an internal IDE drive and pop it in the other internal drive slot.
I got a 250gig drive for $250 about 6 months ago. It's probably much cheaper now. -Chris Studentfilms.com |
