I'm trying to make a song sound like it's being played on a radio in FCP, does anybody know how to do this?

I don't know how to do that in FCP, because I don't have it.

But it's possible in a program calle Goldwave, it's a freeware/sharware program, and you acn easily transfer the orig. sound to a radio sound.

use an equalizer, up the high frequencies, lower the low frequencies.

Although this isn't an internal function of final cut, another option is to physically record the song being played on a radio, like from a cd player or something. (they did this for american graffiti, where they would record the song bieng played in a room, and mix it with the clean high quality version, to make it sound distorted. Called it airballing, thank you film class!)

lower the bass ad turn the mids up.

compress it with a soft knee, shelving eq all the way down below 500hz and above 5000hz. i have an example of this here:
