I looked up your card on newegg.com and only saw 2 outputs on the back (DVI and VGA). This means you can only connect 2 devices at a time to your pc (unless your splitter allows you to still connect a monitor to the same port your running the tv from).

If you want 2 monitors and a preview tv, your going to need an extra svideo or tv out card or a firewire converter box, but i dont think you can add a tv as well as 2 monitors on your card alone.

Hey, i got your PM but thought i'd answer here in case someone ever looked at the archived topic.

Theres a few things i can think of here that could be the issue. have you gone through the utlility for the card so it know what you have connected? unlike a computer monitor, unless the card knows exactly what is connected, you will get a blank screen. Secondly, the same goes for PPro. Unless you tell it to send the video output to a reference monitor, it wont. This is in playback settings under preferences -> general within PPro. Double check both of those.

Failing that, you could use your card for two monitors and either use your cam for the firewire to video converter and plug in that way, or you could buy a dv deck and do the same there. Hope that helps.

you don't want the monitor to come out from the computer, since the computer isn't going to be responsible for playback.

set up an output to your VCR or camera, and have that go to the monitor, so you can see what it will look like when viewed through your playback machine.
