I got a Pinnacle firewire card for Xmas. But I think I remember hearing on this very forum, that the card blew. Was I wrong? Does anyone else have this card?

My friend actually says it works fine, but... I don't know...

I have a studio 8 pinnacle analogue capture card. It sucks ass, it's not even compatible with premiere. Some of pinnacles cards are compatible, but you will have to look your specific one up. As for the program the card comes with, its decent if you do basic editing, but if you want to do professional editing I would not recommend this card.
