I have Pinnacle studio 8 and everytime i try to make a movie(by clicking on that make a movie button) it freezes. I learned this right after i finished uploading and editing my movie. I tryed several times to click the make movie button and every time i click on it it freezes then a pop up comes up and says pinnacle has encountered a problem and has to close. I have tryed pressing the make a movie button for different footage and the same thing happened. I have Windows Xp Pinnacle studio 8 and 512 mb of ram if that will help, Please help me fix this bastardly thing

Pinnacle Studio 8 is an incredibly buggy program. I've had literally hundreds of lockups while using it. I would first make sure you shut down all unnecessary things running in the background. If that doesn't work, defrag your hard drive. After that, maybe you need a better video card. Pinnacle Studio works great for short videos (4 minutes and under), but locks up more and more the longer your footage.

i just reinstalled it and it works pretty good now, but thanks anyways
