im having a little trouble exporting to tape. every time i try, it just puts blue video onto my camera. also, im fairly sure that when i play my timeline in adobe pro, it should also play on my camera when its in VTR mode. also, if it helps, when i play my timeline while exporting, it shows a graphic that says EXPORTING TO DV in my monitor, rather than playin my movie.

any suggestions at all will help. thanks

- Check if your camera has "DV IN/DV OUT" setting.

- Doesn't sound like anythings wrong with the Premiere monitor...I use Premiere 6.5, and when I'm exporting to tape or playing a file while the camcorder is on and attached via firewire, the video doesn't play on the Premiere monitor, but it does play on the camcorder.

mines exactly the opposite. it will play in the monitor, but blue screen on the cam.

you're kinda contradicting yourself, you said in the first post that it "shows a graphic that says EXPORTING TO DV in my monitor, rather than playin my movie." Then in the last post you said "it will play in the monitor, but blue screen on the cam." Can you clarify exactly what does and doesnt work? It's a little confusing so its hard to judge what the problem exactly is...so post it again and i'll see if i can come up with a solution for you (by the way check your playback settings under general settings, there are check boxes that may yield a result in there).
