I need an animation program for my mac that can create 3d objects that can be integrated into my actual footage. I have never used an animation program before so it needs to have an easy learning curve. Please respond!

Wink

Animation takes quite awhile to pick up...I think you have to get overwhelmed and give up at least twice before you can get any good at it. Its just a ton of bulk information and processes that you have to get very familiar with.

I wouldn't suggest Belnder, its really confusing... just like braininabox said Big Grin.

I don't think you'll find something thats simple and has an 'easy learning curve'... oh well! Frown

Every animation package is going to be intense overwhelming...at least Blender is free and there is a stable network of users to help you along personally. Also in my opinion Blender has the most common-sense easily-navigable interface, and it's potential is endless.

But keep in mind if you are wanting these objects to be photorealistic enough to be composited seamlessly into live-action footage, you may need to learn a lot more software than just a 3D Animation Package...you will probably have to be fairly proficient in Photoshop, After Effects, perhaps an alternate modelling...a lot of skills for one person to know, which is why most of the work in the industry is done by teams.
