Does anybody know if there is a limit on the number of cuss words that are allowed in a PG-13 movie. Like the # of f-words and # of s-words, as long as they are not used in a sexually explict connotation.

Even with the giant warning preceeding the text, this should help you out.

i have heard thhat if the word f*** is used once or maybe twice it should be okay for a pg-13. this only applies when the word is not used in reference to sex. this would make the sentence "what the f*** are you doing?" okay, and "I f***ed your mom" not...but cursing in general... i have no idea. im sure there are other things besides the number of words, such as context that go into consideration.

Do whatever the material requires and forget about the rating... I seriously doubt anyone here is a major force behind a project that is going to be rated by the MPAA anyway.
