Great choice for an pro editor, especially your first one. It's the easiest thing to learn, just experiment with actuall stuff and youll find what you want in time with all the buttons clearly present and effects drag and dropable. I used video factory 2 first (a consumer version of Vegas), and it had an amazing real time tutorial for beginers. I would definately try to find it just for this if you need to learn fast. Other than that, check out http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1578202191/qid=1082780474/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/102-5838989-2495361?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 I've tried to find this in stores, but I'll likely have to buy it online. I've heard great things, plus its from the DV.com series, which I have 2 other titles from on sound and lighting, both excellent.
