A super big firewire 800 external HDD for me, baby!
I'm sick of running all my video off the internal HDD in my Powerbook. For all the obvious reason... obviously.

Keep in mind that software counts as editing stuff, too, eh.

A standalone DV deck. Why do these things have to be so damn expensive? Someone shouldve made a cheaper one by now.

Either a multi-format DV deck or a really nice broadcast monitor.

Editing gear? Nothing really. I have the dual 2 GHz G5, AE6, FCP4, DVDSP and I'm set...

I could use a decent external mic and boom, some reflectors, and a greenscreen.
