Just got a new edit system - came bundled with an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro graphics card with analogue monitor out plus a DVI slot - the card came with a DVI to analogue adaptor. Now, before I go buying a second CRT monitor, has anyone had any experience using this card in a dual setup? Can it really do it properly? Cheers.

I have an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro with 128 MBs of Video RAM runing 2 CRTs a 19" and a 17". I run them both at 1280 by 1024 and they work great but you can't go much higher than 60/70 Hz or you get serious flickering on the second screen and redraw problems (Moving windows leaves trails, etc.) I only use my PC for Gaming, And for AliasWavefronts Maya (CGI). I use Final Cut Pro on a dual-processor Mac for editing or anything important that requires a reliable computer that doesn't crash all the time.
