Okay, Id like to do some simple 3D Special effects for a logo screen for one my film group, but I cant seem to find out exactly what programs are used to create pure 3d animation. Any help or info on the subject would be great.

Carrara 2 by Eovia is fantastic. not to brag, but i did this and this in it.

After efects by itself can do 3d, sortof. With a plugin like invigorator, it's real fast and easy to do logos. Fox, ABC, ESPN sports all mostly use Invigorator in AE.
