OK. I would recommend more RAM if possible. At least 768MB. But if you're on a really tight budget 512 will work. The HD is of the most concern. Your normal files (applications, system, etc) will use about about 20GB probably. I would strongly recommend getting at least 80-100GB or (better yet) getting an external drive, such as a LaCie to store your video files.
