If you have FCP 5, it will do it automatically with the color correctors (It's called auto-match hue) . I don't trust it completely, but it will get you very close to perfect. ...I'm confused about what you're asking now. Just do what we've been talking about. Use color correction to adjust the midtones so the clips all look the same. quote: Can anyone give me a sound effect for a vampire changing into a bat. You're kidding, right? That sound effect is so obscure I seriously doubt anyone can point you to a prerecorded clip. This is where you, the creative engine behind this project, comes up with things that sound like what you want it to sound like, and then records them using a microphone.

I'll just give it to you. Which image do you want to correct to the other? I'll give you both: -Apply the 3-way color corrector to whatever clip you're changing (i.e. the look you don't like and want to correct to match the other shot). -Double click on the clip to bring it to the viewer and click on "numeric" or just go to the filters tab in the viewer to access the values for the 3-way color corrector. Now, if you are correcting the shot of Santa with a gun in front of the car, for Midrange controls, enter Angle = -52.15 , Magnitude = 6.62 and for Highlight Controls, enter Angle = -48.15 , Magnitude = 23.12 If you are correcting the shot of Santa on the ground to match Santa with a gun, enter Midrange Angle = 121.09 , Magnitude = 5.16 and Highlight Angle = 127.95 , Magnitude = 19.19 That should do it. I used Match Hue to get these values. By all means tweak them if you feel the need. Of course this won't change the differences in noise (AKA grain) between the two shots. And this won't change the difference in black levels between the two shots--but that's easily fixable with 3-way color corrector by adjusting the level in "blacks controls" (I'd go +/- ~13, depending on what clip you're adjusting to). Hope this helps. Joren www.jorenclark.com"In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert's mind there are few. " ~Shunryu Suzuki

Which program are you doing this in? Some, like FCP, require rendering to see the color correction at full resolutiion. | PerryKroll.com | TRC | "If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled." Wodehouse
