hey everyone. seeing as the computer i have right now is crap and i'm also pretty much broke, i can't use Avid Express DV wich i have. so does anyone no of any ok video editors that are free.

i have a PC and i don't have XP, that's mainly why i can't use Avid. any other ideas. right now i'm using one of the most un user friendly freeware programs on the planet, really hard to understand.
I don't set out to make "art" I just try to make something with a beginning, middle, end, and some characters...the art seems to come during the process.

Well, you don't have many options when it comes to free editors. Those are basically your only choices.

thats too bad b/c the best free editor going for the PC is probably avid FreeDV www.avid.com/freedv but it needs XP as well. i think you may have trouble finding one that doesnt require XP. Are you in college? many universities offer free XP and Office to their students.

never mind visual communicator, the trial will only let u output 1 minute clips.
