What is the difference between the EduPack and the StudentPack version of Avid Xpress Pro, if there is any? I was curious because both sell for the same price on JourneyEd, and the descriptions are identical. Also, is there any difference with these versions compared to the version you get for paying the full $1,699.00? Thanks.

I know that the "academic" versions of most applications are exactly the same as the full versions; the only difference is that you're not supposed to use the academic versions for profit (which is something that nobody pays attention to anyway).

I can't confirm this for the apps that you mentioned, but that's my guess.

The Student Pack is the price for students when they buy.

The Edu Pack is the price for teachers (educators) when they buy.

The products are identical.

Yes it's the same program, the student pack is Avid with a student discount. And oh god, doesn't Avid rule?
