Hey

I am pulling my film together with windows movie maker and it was working fine before but now it won't play the preview.

When i click on the timeline usally a picture of that frame apears on the preview window and i can press 'Play' and it will play the clip from that point but now when i click on the timeline the preview window stays black and when i press play the "play button" goes down like normal but nothing happens.

Does anyone know how i can fix this?

I haven't uses movie maker in 4 years, but I would just try restarting the computer and reopening the program. It doesn't sound like a serious problem, and I doubt theres anything wrong with the program since its a regular windows application.

Well, i tryed that but it doesn't work, Maybe if i keep restarting it'll fix,

deleat temp files or somthing..

I had the same problem, it started after I replaced WMM1 with WMM2.
My solution was to replace my computer (I was going to do it anyway, because my old computer was , well old), but formatting the hard drive would probably fix it.

It would be so much easier if WMM could be uninstalled.

yeah, WMM is a piece of **** program. Well its simple and easy to use but yeah anyways, this happend to me also.. All i did was do a virus scan on my computer and for some reason it woked?! I have no idea but after I did that it worked it was wierd. I think maybe you should give it a shot. haha I have no idea how that works but Im serious this is what I did.
