i have video files, which are captured by MEDIA100, but now i have to edit them on AVID XPRESS PRO, is that possible, because i heard that MEDIA100 uses a special codec. is there any plugin for avid xpress so that it can read the media100 files? i know, there is one for FCP...
thanks

media 100 has a transcoder quicktime extension available for download. I'm not too familiar with the avid family, but I believe it's based on quicktime (when on a mac, at least). So the quicktime transcoder should work for it.

Avid on both PC and MAC can use quicktime files.
